Barbra was an outdoor enthusiast, she loved meeting people and encouraging life long friendships. Born and raised in South Australia, Barbra travelled and lived in many places including Japan, the UK and New Zealand before finally settling in Sydney. Barbra fought a long battle with cancer and in her final year suffered from what became a debilitating lymphoedema. This butterfly has been released in her memory to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors, challenge themselves and make friendships in the process.
